Hi.Which is the closest replica of Jcreator in ubuntu?

You can use netbeans for a start. I think geany supports compiling java files in itself. Otherwise, the best option, IMO is to just use the command line. Its just two steps:

javac Class.java
java Class

The one difference (if you ever used the command line way to compile java in windows) is that you don't have to go and set your PATH variable in linux.

Yes, you can use Eclipse or you can try Netbeans if you want.
