Broken Packages

1) I can't install Wine 1.4 from its website; from terminal; from software center

also after that flashplugin is also not installing....

every time it is giving error:

E: Unable to correct problems,you have held broken packages.

so how to fix this packages i have tried all ways update;upgrade;using synaptics;purge ;autoremove ,etc

2)and then if i am trying sudo apt-get update

it tells;- W: failed to fetch cd-rom ;;;apt-get update cannot be used to add cd-roms..

E: Some index files failed to download.They have been ignored,or old ones used instead.
