I hope all your exams are done.

We are hosting a meetup on increasing the internationalization and localization of BOSS, an issue mentioned in the previous mail. As I mentioned in the previous mail, we would be developing drivers to enable BOSS to use Local languages. This holds a lot of potential for learning and would be a good use of summer vacations. It is a very good way to actually get to know how Linux systems work.

In the meetup we would do an introduction to how we would go about the project. The aim of this meetup is to get you started on the actual development process. I am sure you all will enjoy this a lot. This association is very precious to us because it is an initiative of IITM LUG which is one of the most active and popular LUG in the country. With people from IITM LUG helping us, we could become more active and work in the right direction.

We also have installation CDs with us and you can also make your own bootable USB by downloading the ISO files from http://bosslinux.in/ .

The meetup is on 1st May, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Hobbies Club.

I hope you all will find time to attend the last meetup of the academic year.

Thank You,

Aarti Dwivedi,

Team SDSLabs
