Problem in installing ubunto

First thanx to seniors for giving such good intro in linux ...

Inspires by that i install ubunto 12.04 on my system... 
i made a bootale usb using "universal usb installer" ,and made new partition,, it install perfectly,
But when i used my  windows 7 os it did not show the partition in which i install the ubunto
Is this like that only or some error ???
Plz do help

Hi Kapil, 

Windows cannot by default mount ext type partitions which are normally used by Ubuntu. It's perfectly fine if you can't access your Linux partitions from within Windows.

However, there are great guides available on the internet if you do want to mount ext type partitions.
