Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu : Rivals

I hv installed Windows 8.1 from Windows Store. It was installed without any error. But then I found that Ubuntu Grub is not showing up on booting. I found several solutions on Internet but didn't understand what they want me to do.

I think this is the same problem sir (who has installed ubuntu on my PC) was having while installing ubuntu with windows 8 at installation party at Hobbies Club.

You need to switch UEFI boot to legacy mode and run Ubuntu using a live version. After that, install and run boot repair, and it should take care of everything.
