For authentication on Coursera after any submission when in the dialog box where i have to
type this sentence-"I certify this submission as my own original work completed in accordance with the Coursera Honor Code."

Previously it was working fine when i was in Windows.
But in Ubuntu 14.04 if i type any two characters simultaneously then it will overwrite previous one.
I was using GOOGLE-CHROME in both cases.
So where can the fault be is it in chrome or coursera[compatibility issue]or Ubuntu?

I'm pretty sure its not an Ubuntu/Linux issue.
1. Try using Firefox
2. Try incognito mode
3. Probably a conflict with some extension. Try disabling some.

If I were you, I'd contact Coursera support with my browser info (version etc)
