Minutes Of Meeting

The following topics were discussed in the first meeting:
1. The Vision of this group is to become an active LUG at IIT Roorkee ,to run eventually independent of IMG and SDS .
2. A decision was made to hold a meetup of interested students on 27th September, in the Industrial block.
3. This meetup would involve a lot responsibilities that would be shared between members of both IMG and SDS.
4. Members of SDS have taken up the responsibility of making the poster.
5. The meetup content was to include a presentation(showing how awesome Linux really is.)
6. A Laptop showing setup of Ubuntu was to run on screen , to avoid having people get their own laptops.
7. Also everyone was to share their particular experience with linux and why they really got started using it.
