I think you may be a little confused about pitch and key. Pitch is a specific frequency or tone on a note on a scale. Key really has to do with the group of frequencies or "pitches" that go together to make the song. The "key" of a piece of music tells you which notes will be in the piece and which will not. So for example if you use standard A 440 tuning, the A note above middle C has a frequency of 440 hertz. and all other notes will have a frequency that will be related to that tuning. If you change the tuning to say A 500, the pitch of all the other notes will need to change to that tuning, but all the notes will be the same in every key regardless of the pitch or tuning you use.
From the link you provided, I put it into Google translator, and this is what came out:
"Magix does not have its Samples numbered just for the fun of counting. Behind the numbers are hidden the keys in which the samples are. This applies both to the particular style itself and soundpool across. A (3) about behind a sample always means that the sample is in E minor. In general, there are 7 keys that Magix used (in contrast to the music at all 24 keys - 12 major and 12 minor keys). The samples are numbered from 1-7 (sometimes even gibts 6 variants). The Magix keys in brief:
There is, for example, the style "Movie Score". Here in the numbering of the loops agrees not a single number with the standard model! A disaster? Not a disaster, as we shall see. The assignment of the movie-styles (hereafter I will markers all deviations of the samples from the standard model red so clear at a glance is: Warning Maximum danger!) Is the following:
But there is a simple trick, how can we combine the samples of the movie-style with all others who follow the standard model. To take a look again at the top of the standard model for a long time and just exactly and compares it with the assignment of key and number in movie score-style."
I can't believe there isn't a phone number to call customer support in the US because I'm getting antsy, annoyed and irritated that I can't find any help anywhere with something for my products. I'm not getting any response in the forums and I sometimes want to just talk to a person vocally and on the phone. Please, does anyone know a phone number in the US I can contact Magix for help? Or is it really only in another country? If so, what is the phone number; area code and everything.
But w/e, I've never done this so I was brief and now I have to wait 2 business day for a response. Great _
So my little issue is just that movie edit pro does not display certain fonts I download from the internet so I have to use photoshop with transparent background to put w/e I want to type there, save it as a freakin' picture and then paste it on the movie clip. I don't want to have to keep doing that every time so I hope magix support has a solution to this.
This is the 21st century. If you are not listening to Johny then you are missing the point. I run a small business and my phone number is accessible from around the world. I have a business with clients on multiple continents. They can reach me from Germany included, very easily. If not by phone by online chat or email, and my information is not hidden behind online FAQ pages.
The customer experience with Magix is not what I'd come to expect with Sony when they owned the software.
Magix has no way to know that though because they've not got any system to talk with people in the payment process. I saw those phone numbers for overseas, however, I cannot call them from my location. Why no 800 number in US that forwards to Berlin or chat window that goes to email after hours? The United States is a HUGE market to work in and I'm sure you have other customers here.
Something that should be a quick ten minute or less tech support call will likely take a month or more to resolve before I can publish this site. I can't afford to loose the domain name so I am absolutely trapped now. There is no phone number anywhere to be found. I submitted a support ticket, took them five days to respond, only to say they reset my password and would send an additional email with a link to reset it. That email never came. So I am back where I started.
I have a very low opinion of the company. The links are just rabbit holes. If you can't find your problem there you are out of luck it would appear. I don't think I ever received a serial number for "Photo Designer 7" like I did for "Web Designer Premium". So, I can't install Photo Designer 7 on my new laptop, it doesn't appear. I mean if a person has to ask the community for help with that, ,that tells me that the company offers little in the way of support for the products.
I did some searching and apparently ACID loops work within Music Maker. I have a pretty big collection of those. Of course, they might not work with Songmaker, which is the only thing that intrigues me.
Note Magix' non-commercial use restriction. I know you mentioned not usually using stuff with this restriction in one of your videos. I am in the same boat. I bought a few of their packs in the early days, and although I don't currently license or sell music, I prefer not to keep track of such sources.
Music Maker kept asking for my serial number, but it needs a serial number that starts with P3. All the other serial numbers from Magix in this bundle start with P3. These two G3 coupon serial numbers were not accepted on the Magix site either. I'm guessing that you can redeem them within Music Maker after you register it. But I had no luck with that.
While there are a number of Sound Pools that come with Samplitude, they don't turn up in Music Maker when I put them in the folder with the others. Even the Sound Pool that came with the program doesn't load up now. Only the free ones I got from the store.
I am now having the same issue with Magix Music Maker Premium 2017. All of a sudden, no menu bar. I have tried F4 (nothing), I have removed the musicmaker.ini file as suggested (nothing happened). I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, and nothing happened.
"Hey Procyon, thanks for the answer, but I still have the same problem. What I think your advice is, is to take the sound loop in d minor (in this case "Extricating Layer" from Movie Score Vol. 11) and drag it into the main sound / mixing area with all the instruments that are in the track so far. Then I right click on the loop and hover mouse over "Tempo and Pitch". Then I click "one pitch lower". However, the loop is then moved down from number 4 (d minor as you advised) to number 3 (c major), not c minor. Any ideas? Thanks"
Yes BIG DISSAPOINTMENT it said by pressing the page up and down keys it will change octive it dont work I tried it with 3 version of mm 14 this need patch NOW ! + first key on the keyboard is a 1 and well that dont play the right note in fact you caint play the first note with any key unless you use mouse I had Muisic maker keyboard version no problems
If I attempt to re-install wizardFXSuite, the dialog only offers 'Modify'; so I exit that. I also checked the Windows 'Start' tab for any mention of wizardFX and I don't see any way to launch. It must be a plug-in list in MusicMaker, but I'm not understanding how it might have added to MusicMaker without entering the P3 Serial number from Magix.
I downloaded the new version of Music Maker recently. I like the idea of being able to enter the serial numbers from my older Music Maker versions which I paid for in the past to easily access the contents belonging to those versions, especially since I wouldn't be able to re-install some of those older versions now, due to incompatibility with my current OS. However, this doesn't seem to be fully working for me. I seem to be able to get the old VST instruments that came with some of those Music Makers. (I don't actually have any way to check whether these are complete and include all instruments I used to have in the past.) So, that's the good part. However, here's the bad news: The entry of the old serial numbers doesn't seem to make any difference when it comes to the loop libraries that came with Music Maker in the past. I gain literally zero additional loops by going through the procedure. This is a pity since the loops really one of the most important aspects of Music Maker to me.
Thanks for that. However, here's the problem: Most of those older Music Maker versions aren't currently installed on my system. In fact, I probably won't be able to install most of them even if I tried, cause they're not compatible with Windows 10. The function in the Music Maker suggests that I could just unlock the content by entering the old Music maker serial numbers. This does seem to work for the VST instruments and function but not for the sounds/loops which are part of every Music Maker version. It's not really clear why it wouldn't work. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. But why would Magix specifically exclude the loops from this, especially when they suggest it should work.
Last but not less important is your own contribution to our cause. You should consider to submit your ownserial numbers or share other files with the community just as someone else helped you with Magix Music Maker 2016 serial number.Sharing is caring and that is the only way to keep our scene, our community alive.
Music is an important part of most video productions. If you produce video for money, broadcast or public display, then you need either buyout music or some sort of music composition software. While there are a number to choose from, few have as many features and options as MAGIX Music Maker 7 deLuxe, and fewer still will set you back less than $75. This suite includes loop-based music tools, step-sequencers, software synths and effects, in addition to timeline video editing and mixing. Perhaps we were initially confused by the name "Music Maker," but it turns out that this product really does it all, from aural to visual.
