Hi there, I'm using Studio 6.2 but I'd think it would not change that much.  Rather than creating a new ASF project, is there an option for creating an example project?  From there you should be able to choose an "Example" project and a device to deploy it against.

Labview should be able to send data over serial, though you will likely need to look at how you pull the information off and the protocol.

Hello there

I'm having trouble to set up LUFA, I'm following the
LUFA - Getting Started guide,

but I don't have an official board,
I will be using a specific board with one atmega32u4 created by my team.

Should I just proceed and cancel this step?

I also am not able to select the LUFA extension on the ASF wizard, I don't know if these problems are related

Also let me ask if CDC would be the best class to read date from PC(Labview) into the atmega32u4?

I appreciate that you help me,
thanks in advance,

Hi J. Silva,

I just updated my AS7 install (side not, the web offline installer seems to give a broken download at the moment, I had to use the online installer) to make sure the extension still works, and everything seems fine. It looks like you might be trying to create a new ASF project from scratch rather than starting from an example project (File->New->Example Project...) which would trigger that error.

There is a "template" example project for LUFA included in the extension to side-step the board selection issue, if you really want to design a LUFA app from scratch using the AS7 IDE.

Cheers!

Hello,

I manage to solve the problem by re-installing the LUFA extension. Thank you for your attention, that is truly amazing, I'm having new problems with descriptors, I will create a new post.
