What determines what the windows device
manager displays for a CDC virtual serial port?
String descriptor on device?
inf on host?
Something else?

From experimentation,
the DESCRIPTION string in the inf file is what shows up in the device manager.
I learned this when I finally got Windows 10 to use the .inf file I'd
thought it was.
