PdaNet for FreeBSD

I just got my T-Mobile My Touch 3G tethered to Win 7 Using PdaNet. Works great (I only used U5B). According to the web site it should work with Linux but only with Bluetooth. Anyone have this working with FreeBSD 8.0 and Gnome?
