>Description:
A few days ago i install FreeBSD. The model of motherboard on that pc is 603TCF and it has VT8601T as north bridge and VT82C686B as south bridge. I read about ATA(4) (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=ata&sektion=4&manpath=FreeBSD+8.0-RELEASE) and there i read that FreeBSD supports VT82C686B, but i've got the next problem: when i choose "Commit" in install window i've got an error : "Error: unable to create filesystem". First i think maybe something is wrong with my hard-drive (IDE), but i try 4 different drives and the error is the same. I tried different cables, different combinations of jumpers on hard drive - the problem is the same. Also i drew attention on messages(15-20) about hard drive like "ad0: FAILURE - READ_DMA status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR> error=84<ICRC,ABORTED> LBA=39070080"...
I don't understand if FreeBSD supports VT82C686B, why i've got this problem?

>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
I tried "safe mode" in menu, and error disappeared, but it is not a solution:(
