Title: SAP BI/ BW Consultant

Duration:6 months

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BI Consultant with deep expertise across the SAP BI landscape, SAP HANA, and enterprise data modeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP source systems such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, along with functional exposure to Order to Cash (OTC), Finance, Source to Pay (S2P), and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. Experience with advanced analytics and reporting tools like SAP BOBJ and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is highly desirable.

Required Experience

Total SAP BI / BW Experience:
10+ years of hands-on experience across the SAP BI/BW landscape

SAP HANA Experience:
7+ years of experience with SAP HANA (BW on HANA, native HANA, or S/4HANA analytics)

SAP Data Modeling Expertise:
7+ years of experience in SAP data modeling, including complex transformations and optimized data structures
SAP Source Systems Expertise:
Very strong understanding of SAP source systems, including:
SAP S/4HANA
SAP ECC
Experience designing and supporting data extraction, delta handling, and data reconciliation from source systems into SAP BI

Business Process Experience:
5+ years of experience supporting one or more of the following domains:
Order to Cash (OTC)
Finance (FI/CO, management and financial reporting)
Source to Pay (S2P)
Procure to Pay (P2P)

Key Responsibilities

SAP BI, HANA & Source System Integration
Design, develop, and maintain SAP BI/BW solutions across complex landscapes
Work closely with SAP S/4HANA and ECC source systems for data extraction and modeling
Build and optimize BW on HANA objects and HANA-native models
Ensure accurate and efficient data flows from source systems to reporting layers

Data Modeling & Performance Optimization
Recreate existing data models using the below to new Cloud Data Platform on Azure and Databricks:
aDSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views
HANA Calculation Views
Optimize extraction, transformation, and reporting performance
Apply best practices in data warehousing and modeling

Functional & Business Alignment
Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions
Deliver analytics supporting OTC, Finance, S2P, and P2P business processes
Build KPIs, operational dashboards, and finance reports

Reporting & Analytics
Develop and support reports and dashboards using:
SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Universes)
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Ensure consistency and reconciliation of numbers across tools

Support & Leadership
Mentor junior consultants and lead development best practices
Support production issues, enhancements, upgrades, and performance tuning
Collaborate with functional, basis, security, and integration teams

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ)
Hands-on exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Experience with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
SAP BW, HANA, or Analytics certifications preferred
