This post is dedicated to posting tips, hints, and other info for
newbies and also a chance for them to ask questions and have them
answered.
Firstly I would like to mention the two places I go to most often for
information on players:
1) http://www.officialpokerrankings.com - I would say this is the most
comprehensive database of players MTT and SnG statistics. This will
tell you what kind of tournies a player has with what kind of results
and if you dig around you can get a lot of good info for FREE. This
website only requires an e-mail address to set up an account and have
unlimited searches.
2) http://www.sharkscope.com - This website has tracked over 165
million SnG's over 20 different poker networks and although its a pay
site it is one of the best. + You get 5 free searches/day
ANother good place with free tools is
http://www.cardplayer.com - In their Tools and Tips section they have
an Omaha and a Hold'Em Calculator plugin that you could use for free
to figure out the stats on up to 5 players hands.

Hey guys, just another useful link here:
http://www.pocketfives.com - this basically a statistical database
website that keeps track of the best players online once they
register. I wouldnt use this to get info on the majority of my
opponents but it is useful if you are trying to get in touch with a
player, as they have a neat private message option
