Those of you who, like myself spend most of their time filling the
indentation they've molded into their computer chair, scouring the web
for any tip that's going to make your laborious investment of mouse-
clicks, profitable, you may not be so surprised to come across an
artificially intelligent robot seated right next to you at your
favorite poker site. Anyone else, who is either new to the on-line
game, or simply ignorant, believe it now, Poker-Bots are a reality,
and are not going away. In fact the future of Poker-botting is
limitless, and as with every technology, getting better and better,
even as their targets become more secure.
Their targets are of course the largest and most lucrative of the
bunch; Poker Stars and FullTilt, which are co-jointly owned. The
programmers responsible for the two software's have been hard at work
resolving the issue of bots, by canceling suspected botters accounts,
and rewriting their security patches to keep hackers from accessing
any hand-data in real time. Unfortunately, it is a futile battle. Any
experienced computer scientist, or any novice techie can get their
hands on the tools, produced by Microsoft themselves, that will give
them access to the real-time data. And with that the game is back on.
Another impracticality that comes with the new security
limitations, that they have made obsolete any legitimate third-party
poker tool that relied on the real-time data for card-calculations and
such-forth. Some of you may have noticed that as of recent, your
cracked copy of Hold'em Genius isn't working anymore. Its not just
your copy, its the whole line of them, and its causing a tussle.
Should we be afraid of poker-bots? It makes sense for Poker Stars
and other sites to fear the inevitable infiltration of robots, its bad
for their image. But for the actual player it all depends. A good live
player, supplied with the right tools, is better than a bot, and
potentially a poker-bots worst nightmare. After-all most bots are
built to custom design, and are only as good as the creator makes
them.
Ill be writing more on this subject later. Until then take a look
at this preview of our upcoming software, specifically designed to
hunt-out botters. http://luckygenius.com/upcoming.php
