Job Title: IBM Maximo Consultant

Description:

Our client is looking for an individual with a background in Maximo CMMS, database design and migration, as well as user interface development.

The successful candidate(s) shall have proven skills in the following areas:

• Ten or more years of implementing Maximo, including Maximo MMS versions 6 and 7, tables, data, relationships between tables, ERD
• Updating and migrating SQL databases
• Knowledge of database theory, SQL queries and design concepts
• Presenting information verbally and in writing to people of various levels of technical knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and RDBMS, particularly Microsoft Azure datalake
• Proven experience with deployments to the cloud (e.g. AWS), preferably in Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Database as a Service (DbaaS) modes.
• Data integration – Moving data into the Metrolinx Azure Data Lake from source systems in the Metrolinx cloud (Azure) and on-premises data centers
• Data engineering – Curating and Aggregating the data and keeping the data structures usable
• Data Science – Descriptive, Explorative, Inferential, Predictive, Causal and Mechanistic data analytics
• Expertise in Scrum Agile project delivery methodology
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Cloud solutions, i.e., designing, developing, and testing technologies listed below:

·       Azure Data Lake

·       Azure Data Factory (data transformation, cleansing, standardization, and aggregation)

·       Synapse

·       Azure SQL Database

·       Customizable Power Apps/Web Apps

·       Power BI

·       Data Bricks

·       Synapse Dedicated Pool

·       Synapse Serverless

·       Microsoft Purview

• Experience with automated data validation tools and processes
• Knowledge of data processing languages, such as SQL, Python, C#, or Scala
• Knowledge of the overall SDLC and pipeline automation CI/CD
• Understand parallel processing and data architecture patterns
•  Knowledge and use of various Azure data services and languages to store and produce cleansed and enhanced datasets for analysis
• Preparing documentation needed for the delivery lifecycle and handover to users and operations.
• Authoring data governance materials, user, and technical documentation in collaboration with Business Analyst.
