Hi ,
I have been deploying several things using lucida's speech recognition service.

During my occupation with lucida i have understood that the Questions have some "dependency" words like the followings: "Who When How What Which..." and some others.

Is there a way to change this "restriction" ? For example i would have wanted to tell just " Tell me the capital of Italy" or directly "Capital of Italy" .

As i understand it would be difficult (up to impossible) to remove those words from the structure of the question, but i am asking how can i somehow add my own words/phrases , for example "tell me", "give me" instead of using the defaults that you have given.

I dont know if i am looking on the correct file but firstly i have thought to simply "add" my custom words.
But apparenlty it doesnt work because each word probably contain additional functioning.
I am thinking that it should be easy to copy the functioning of the word "who" for example and use it for the purposes of my custom words by simply changing the "who" with "tell".

PS 2 . This is only an experiment that i am trying to do, in order to see how can i improve this kind of "restriction".

Hi,

We can use any type of question we want, but OpenEphyra (the base of the QA module of Lucida) has the built-in ability to deal with Who-When-What-... questions as shown in the EnglishFeatureExtractor class.

As we can see in the patterns of questions about movies[1], some questions does not follow this pattern.

I think you can use the pattern learning feature to create your own pattern.
