Problems with USB-Serial cables

Some users have reported the infamous Windows 'Blue Screen' or BSOD
when using an RS-232 interface with their own USB-serial adapter (not
the LUCID USB interface). There is a known problem with the drivers
supplied with some cables which use the Prolific converter chip. If
you are seeing this problem you can download updated drivers directly
from the Prolific website at http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?id=31
