Hi,
I was thinking of creating a software program specifically for
documenting dreams. It would assist in cataloging dream signs as well.
Does anyone know if such a tool would be useful? Personally I would use
it, but I'm not sure how others would feel about it. Does anyone have
another tool similar to this idea?

That would be a great idea. The aplications not only for personal use
but also use in a resaerch facility would be enourmouse. If it were
networked to gether so that the sign and dream were send to a database
where the information could be prossesed, it would make it easier to do
mass testing without individually speeking with each subject.

I've been thinking of this for a while now, about what a good lucid
dreaming application would be like. I think I have some good ideas. The
application will be able to recored the dreams along with highlighting
and cataloging the dreamsigns. Then you can search through the dreams
either by dreamsign, dreamsign category, or simply by keyword in title
and or body.
I've recently been learning some cool new technologies and once I get a
handle of them, it will allow me to create a networked envrionment in
which individuals can share their content with others, if they desire.
The dream entries will have a permission field as well to denote wether
to share and who to share with and what not. I'm still thinking of
exactly how to implement all this, and how flexible it needs to be. I
don't want to say too much at this point because I haven't even started
working on it, well I have a little but not much yet. I'll probably
start writing the code in about 2 months after I have a better
understanding of the technologies to be used.
