Hello,

I was not able to get the significance of involving foreign girls during "thinbeda kammi" song. I mean why does Nikki dream about it. Also, is there any hidden meaning for their contribution in theatre renovation?

The significance is when our Indian people don't help nikki in renovating his theatre, foreign people contribute to help, that reflects our society...
And other thing is storyteller convince you to believe nikki is real which is reversed at the end...

@Team Lucia,

First of all, A big congratulations on such a fantastic and well made attempt at meaningful cinema.I truly wished that I was a part of this team in some way after watching the movie :)

A general observation is that the dream and reality have the same characters that are running in parallel story lines.
When the entire movie follows this theme, just to address the issues of expats' involvement in Indian society,there is a deviation from the main theme of the movie.There is no parallel characters of the expats, in Nikki the actor's life.
This could have been included in a more meaningful way like the rest of the movie where everything is in sync.
-->"And other thing is storyteller convince you to believe nikki is real which is reversed at the end..."
The storyteller has done an exceptional job in amalgamating everything in the dream and reality, a tough but phenomenal script to tie all the loose ends.But, the expats' involvement seems to be the only loose end and a little liberty taken as an Indian filmmaker :)
All this said and done,Kudos to team Lucia for bringing in such a wonderful experience to the Indian audience.

There could be an allegory to what the film maker was going through.... Lack of support from the Kannada Film Industry (made famous in his 'Making enemies' blog) while help and funding came in from outside.

Incidentally, the director also takes potshots at movie stars (Kannada ?) who are  not self made in the TV interview scene....
