Lucandra with Cassandra 1.x or 2.x

Hi,

We have an application which uses Cassandra data base for storing data. I need to integrate a search engine through which I can search the data stored in db efficiently.

My Cassandra version is 1.0.11. I wanted to use Lucandra but seeing no updates on the same for a long time.

Does Lucandra still alive ? Can I use Lucandra for Cassandra version is 1.0.11. 

Any help would be highly appreciated.
