Nope not at all. It just stable. But in the future we are going to be putting together a package that is built by LuaDist and includes LuaRocks as well.
What exactly do you want to do? I am very interested in the Apache Lua module. How does it get included? How do I write Lua that turns into html? I use wsapi/Orbit/fcgi currently and LOVE it.

Is there a good step by step to setup a LuaRocks or LuaDist install that will compile correctly on Win32?Now that Apache supports it, I think there's a great opportunity for this language in the web space.
