Hi there,
No doubt you have been keeping up to date with our announcements regarding the shutdown of the travis-ci.org domain, a project that was initially started back in 2018 with the goal of unifying all Travis CI users under the single domain of travis-ci.com.
In the coming days, we will make a public announcement that the final date for running builds on travis-ci.org is May 31, 2021, after which accounts still on the travis-ci.org domain will retain access to historical data for build logs and config information, but builds will no longer run successfully.
However, for you and a number of our other most active customers on travis-ci.org, this change will not have any effect for the time being, and May 31, 2021, cut off does not apply to you. We still plan to eventually migrate all travis-ci.org customers over to travis-ci.com as the unified platform will allow us to provide a higher level of service to all customers; however, this delay will help us provide our most valuable customers with more time to migrate, as we hope to provide you with the highest level of support from Travis CI.
In summary:
- We will be releasing a public statement detailing the shutdown of travis-ci.org on May 31, 2021.
- This shutdown date will not impact your repositories currently on travis-ci.org and will not affect any builds you run -- no migration is required from you at this time.
- We still plan to eventually migrate all customers from travis-ci.org to travis-ci.com, as a unified platform this will allow us to provide the best service possible.
If you have any questions or concerns on this topic, please don’t hesitate to contact sup...@travis-ci.com.
All the best. |
