Bug in Lua 5.5 and Lua 5.4.8?

Is there a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I'm calling luaL_loadbuffer with a string having invalid Lua syntax,

and I'm expecting it to push a string onto the stack.

But there is no string on the stack after the call ends.

What am I doing wrong? It fails in both versions.

Oh, I figured it out. It's a bug in my program. Sorry for the noise!
