[ANN] Beta of Tenum – fullstack serverless SaaS development with Lua + Luact

Hi all, I’m happy to share something we’ve been working on for quite some time: the Beta release of tenum.ai, a platform that enables fullstack SaaS development in pure Lua, from backend to frontend. Tenum uses Luact, a React-like UI library written in Lua, to let you build UIs declaratively—complete with hooks, DOM diffing, and all the expected modern frontend ergonomics. On the backend side, you model your domain using event-sourced Lua artifacts like Entities (with CQRS), message and event handlers, decorators, modules, and even AI handlers if you want. Everything runs on our own FaaS-style infrastructure—so no servers, DevOps, or deployment pipelines needed. You write Lua code, and it's live. State synchronization between frontend and backend is automatic, so you can focus on modeling your domain rather than fiddling with plumbing. We're also working on an experimental MCP (Model-Context-Protocol) implementation, which integrates with GitHub Copilot in VS Code and lets AI agents assist you more directly within the artifact system.
