Cult.Repo makes documentaries about Open Source Software.
They are currently making one about Lua.
They have interviewed the Lua team in Rio. See the teaser at

Now they need support to interview people from the game industry in the US.
If you can help or know someone who can, please get in touch with

I'm really proud of what we captured. Watching the story come together
— the origins at PUC-Rio, the oil fields, the moment Lua quietly took
over the gaming world — makes me more certain than ever that this film
needs to exist.
Which brings me to why I'm writing. The next phase takes us to the
United States, where we want to film the gaming, creative software,
and infrastructure side of Lua's story.
To make this leg of production happen, we're actively building a group
of sponsors who believe this story deserves to be on screen. If any of
you know people or organizations in the Lua community who might want
to be part of bringing this film to life, I'd be very grateful for an
introduction or a suggestion.
Thank you again for trusting me with this story. I can't wait for you
to see what comes next.
Warmly,
Felipe Souza Melo
