Hey there, I'm running the 0.3.2 version of LuaAlchemy

and I get a null reference just by creating a new LuaAlchemy object.

I've tested this in 0.3.0 and 0.2.2 and get the same thing.

I was using this code, as reference
http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=22715.0

Per the documentation, I also tried properly setting the virtual filesystem root, same crash.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks!,
Brandon

Hi, Brandon!
Please show the crash diagnostics.

And make sure that you build LuaAlchemy as SWF 12.

Hi there,

This is Brandon, just on my work account now.

Here's the error log

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
    at luaAlchemy::LuaAlchemy/init()
    at luaAlchemy::LuaAlchemy()
    at com.filament.epi::Epigame/onTextLoad()[C:\Users\bsmith\Desktop\FilamentSVN\Epigame\dev\branches\WISE\src\com\filament\epi\Epigame.as:232]
    at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
    at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
    at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()

and I was using the precompiled .swc, if that helps at all!

Please try to build *SWF* in SWF12. If you're using ant to build the
project, here is how to do that:

https://github.com/lua-alchemy/lua-alchemy/commit/8525f2b7a85f8e8aa25c4fdd31edf49526e7ce33

HTH,
Alexander.
