Our client company Georgia-Pacific EMEA has an exciting new way of
thinking and working. We are seeking a new employee to help our
client
company build its future. Georgia-Pacific is a world leader in
Consumer and Commercial Tissue, Towel, Napkin, Paper Products,
Hygiene
and Tabletop products.

Georgia-Pacific has an immediate need for an attorney to serve as a
Division Regional Counsel located in its Luxembourg office. The ideal
candidate should have 4-6 years minimum experience with general
commercial legal skills. In-House experience at an American or
European consumer products company or direct counseling with in-house
clients is a plus.

Description:

This division counsel position will provide advice and counsel to
sales, finance, marketing, and research and development employees
within the EMEA division and will assist Senior Regional Counsel with
the commercial A-F-H business. The candidate must have appreciable
experience in drafting and reviewing various business agreements,
license agreements, procurement contracts and managing the legal
aspects of business transactions. Review of packaging and regulatory
requirements will be an on-going responsibility. Excellent antitrust
knowledge and on-going training of key international Georgia-Pacific
Compliance Programs will be a priority. Excellent communication and
negotiation and written skills are required. The candidate will be
required to keep abreast of trends and changes in the law as
reflected
in judicial precedent, legislation, and government regulations
affecting the division, and communicate them to management. Regular
international travel will be required.

capable of accepting a high degree of responsibility and a real team
player.
Excellent writing skills as well as excellent academic and
professional credentials are required.
Multiple languages is a plus.
