Terra Rosa Cultural Resource Management is an archaeology, anthropology and cultural heritage consultancy based in Fremantle, Western Australia. As a company we provide archaeological and anthropological heritage consulting, Native Title research and advice, approvals consulting and project management services to the mining industry and Indigenous groups throughout Australia.
We are currently looking for an Archaeologist/Heritage Consultant who is looking for a challenging but financially rewarding 2011. The position is based out of our brand new Fremantle office, with the majority of fieldwork taking place in the Mid-West, Murchison, Pilbara and Kimberly regions of WA.
What we’re looking for :
A relevant honours or masters degree either in Archaeology, Anthropology or a related subject.
Experience of working with, or a desire to work with indigenous groups.
Proven report-writing skills with an interest in submitting articles to peer review publications.
A willingness to work in tough environments as part of close-knit team.
A driving licence and experience of 4WD off-road driving (Training will be provided to right candidate).
Experience of working with or an understanding of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972.
