I wanted to post a warning to anyone who may be using the Scanning
feature on Android.

We do not really advise anyone sending images on a recurring basis.
This can make your app slow and sluggish, but also it will bring your
query count up dramatically.

This can affect pricing dramatically, as currently, our pricing model
is on a per query basis. This is something to keep note of.

Hi Adam,

What do you call the "scanning feature" ? Is it something specific to
the Android platform ?

Hi Francois,

The best example I can find on what I mean by "scanning" is Microsoft
Tag reader. This doesn't require the user to actively take a picture.

Something like this can technically be used with the LTU engine / ON
demand platform, but you will be sending an image every 2 seconds or
so.
