Hello!
Sharing a story from a colleague: " Two Sauve Simians were working in a closed power-plush room. At the end of the day, on the outside wall, they would flash guidelines for others to follow. As it happened one day, when they approached for their pay packet kept alongside the day-meal on the table something strange happened. Everytime, they approached the meal the pay packet vanished, everytime they approached the pay packet the meal vanished. It became a regular pattern, over a period of time 'either-or' learning emerged. This learning resulted in diminishing statures. One diminished at a faster pace than the other. Soon, they required more hands to finish days work. Pattern learning had become a mindless ritual over time. One less dimished simian would hire only if the new simian fitted this ritual. Protesting simians were thrown out remorselesly, the room beacame more closed, no one touched the meals. Piling up meal resources sent a stench. Simians collected outside could only see the piled up resources and privileged inmates. Unmindful of the stench, the sauve simians kept on posting on the outside walls- guidelines became disconnected dictats. Protests outside grew disrespectful and fun poked at the insiders at every opportunity. Time passed, piled up resources gave an ugly picture. Outsiders started discussing and working to improve their lot from anywhere they stood. It was refreshing and revolutionary. The winds of change were strong enough to force open the closed window. The sauve simians inmates had by now slipped into a delirium, yet continued writing dictates to be fixed on the walls. Pitiable. The crowd outside by now had purposeful leaders and aimed to do something sane to regain the lost respect, sense of direction and participation. Something was to be done to completely rewrite the future... something very diffrent , very close to the ground and very meaningful for the generations to come... what could it be??"

Dear friends, your voice could be the lifeline to future generations of learners and aspiring teaching professionals. Please share your thoughts on the Two Year B.Ed. Curriculum (TYBC), syllabus and related documents.
