You can also enumerate claims with an HttpModule or web part or through OperationContext. For more information, see How to Get All User Claims at Claims Augmentation Time in SharePoint 2010. This information about SharePoint 2010 applies also to SharePoint 2013.

For SAML-based claims authentication, verify that Trusted identity provider and the correct trusted provider name are selected. For more information, see Configure SAML-based claims authentication with AD FS in SharePoint Server.

More on SharePoint 2013 REST API with Fiddler and SPD

Fiddler is primarily used as a Web Proxy that can allow you intercept REST API Request-Response Cycle. The usage of this tool has increased with the shift in modern SharePoint development paradigms that favors more the Client-Side Development Techniques/Strategies/Platforms rather than traditional Farm Solutions.

The blog post shows you how to use Fiddler to edit your display template files locally, but you can also use it to point to local copies of the debug versions too using the same method.

Postman is just another super helpful tool to build, test, and inspect REST calls. If you just want to test an API to see how it works without writing an app first, you can use Postman to jump right in. Postman is slightly more complicated than Graph Explorer when it comes to dealing with authentication.
