I'm Still Here (2024) is nominated for three Oscars: Best Picture, Lead Actress and International Film. In Santa Cruz, it is at the Del Mar Theater where there are 18 showings from Thursday, 2/12 to Wednesday, 2/19. The earliest showing starts at 1pm and the latest at 10pm. The film is also offered for purchase for streaming on Amazon and Fandango at Home.

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 7pm we will discuss the History/Drama/Biography - I'm Still Here (2024). One afternoon in 1971, Rubens Paiva, a former congressman and outspoken critic of Brazil's newly instituted military dictatorship, was taken from his home in Rio de Janeiro by government officials, told nothing more than that he must give a "deposition" to authorities, and disappeared. Adapted from his son Marcelo Rubens Paiva's memoir, this overwhelming, richly realized political drama from Walter Salles (Central Station,The Motorcycle Diaries) stays tightly wedded to the perspective of Rubens's wife, Eunice, whose indefatigable search for the truth about her husband would stretch out for decades. 1. Open the Zoom desktop client.
2. Join a meeting using one of these methods:

3. Enter the Meeting ID number. 
   
   • If you're not signed in with your Zoom/Facebook/Gmail, enter a display name. Or...
     
   • If you're signed in, change your name if you don't want your default name to appear.
