LTATM
meetings at the Del Mar Theatre are indefinitely suspended. Please join
us online via Zoom video conferencing software (details below) where
this week we'll be discussing Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein after each seeing it individually in a
movie theatre and/or by streaming it on Netflix.
In
the Santa Cruz area, our film, Frankenstein, is showing at the Del Mar Theater (18 showings), Cinelux Capitola (9 showings),
and the Green Valley Cinema (9 showings). We encourage seeing the film in-theater because of its cinematic qualities but realize that this may not be possible and understand if you see the film streaming on Netflix.
On
Wednesday, November 19 at 7pm, we will discuss the Body Horror/Dark Fantasy/Monster Horror/{Psychogical Horror/Psychological Drama/Steampunk/Tragedy/Drama/Fantasy/Horror - Frankenstein (2025. Dr.
Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist, brings a
creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the
