COSTUME CONTEST:
To kick off the event, we would like to invite everyone to attend our
costume contest, sponsored by Anime Expo on August 19th at 5PM at the
Japanese American Cultural and Community Center Stage, located at 320
South San Pedro Street in the heart of Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.
Join anime and cosplay fans as they show off their costumes and perform
skits for everyone at Nisei Week! Photo Opportunities with the winners
of the costume contest will be available. Don't want to compete for the
costume contest? Join the Parade! Cosplayers are invited to take part
in the Grand Parade alongside the contestants of the Anime Costume
Contest. Registration for the contest on the day of the contest is
required in order to participate in the contest, but not required if you
would like to walk in the parade. For more information about the

LTAF GENERAL INFORMATION
Nisei Week's Little Tokyo Anime Festival will be taking place on
Saturday, August 25th from 10AM to 8PM and Sunday, August 26th from 10AM
to 6PM on the 2nd Floor of the Little Tokyo Shopping Center, 333 S.
Alameda Street in Los Angeles on the corner of East 3rd and South
Alameda Streets. There is no admission fee for this event, but there
will be a spot where you can make donations. Donation proceeds will
benefit the Nisei Week Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
dedicated to educating the public on Japanese American and traditional
Japanese arts and culture. For more information about Nisei Week,

SCREENING ROOM
Sit back and relax while watching the latest and greatest in anime at
the Anime Screening Room, sponsored by Mikomi-Con. While you're there,
get to know more about Mikomi-Con and register for their event taking
place on September 7-9 on the Cal State Northridge campus! Anime
screening schedules will be posted on the weekend of the festival and
will be located on the 2nd floor of the Little Tokyo Shopping Center.
LTAF EXHIBITORS AREA
Have an itch to shop for anime-related items? If you're in the area on
August 25-26, check out our exhibitor's area. This year's exhibitors
area will include merchandise from 88 Dragon Trading and Fat Rabbit

NISEI WEEK MERCHANDISE
LTAF will be carrying merchandise for the 2007 Nisei Week Festival,
including T-Shirts and Festival Happi Coats, in the Exhibitor's Area.
Please show your support for the Nisei Week and the Anime Festival by
making a purchase to show that you would like the Anime Festival
continue in the Little Tokyo area!
INFORMATION BOOTH
JTAF- Nisei Week's sister anime convention in San Francisco, California-
will be sponsoring this year's information booth. While supplies last,
pick up a fold-out paper fan, provided by OPI. You'll also be able to
get a chance to make a donation to the Nisei Week Foundation and the
Anime Festival, as well as let us know what you think about this year's
Anime Festival and how we can improve on future Festivals. The booth
will provide information for Nisei Week and the Little Tokyo Anime
Festival, in addition to fliers from local area shops, anime clubs and
conventions. All companies and organizations are encouraged to drop off
fliers at the information desk at any time during the Festival Weekend.
Also, get a chance to see Agent 760 and pick up a discount registration
coupon for JTAF 5 at San Francisco's Fort Mason Center on November
10-11, 2007! It's said he'll be wearing a Purple Nisei Week Happi Coat
and a brown and white Hawaiian kukui nut Lei and t-shirts from the
various sponsors of the Anime Festival ;)
LTAF RAFFLE FUNDRAISER
We will be holding Raffle Drawings for prizes at 5PM each day of the
Anime Festival on the Clock Tower stage on the 2nd Floor of the Little
Tokyo Shopping Center. Raffle Tickets will be available at the Nisei
Week Little Tokyo Anime Festival Information Table for $3 a ticket or
$10 for 5 tickets. Proceeds will benefit the Nisei Week Foundation and
the Little Tokyo Anime Festival. If you would like to donate raffle
prizes of any kind to this event, please contact us at
in...@project760.net and let us know what you would be willing to donate.
ARTIST ALLEY / SWAP MEET
Are you an anime fan with stuff to get rid of or a fan artist that wants
to promote your artwork? Then join us for our first ever artist alley
and swap meet area! We encourage all entrepreneurs and artists to take
part in this event to come out and show their support. Tables for the
Nisei Week Little Tokyo Anime Festival are available for August 25-26,
2007 at the Little Tokyo Shopping Center on 333 S. Alameda Street in Los
Angeles, CA. These tables are available on a first come, first serve
basis for $50/weekend and can be payable at the Anime Festival Office on
the days of the festival. Sorry, there will be no electricity or table
dressings provided for these spaces.
NISEI WEEK CARNIVAL
Need more stuff to do while you're at the Anime Festival? Check out the
Carnival! Nisei Week invites everyone from the Anime Festival to make
their way around the Street Arts Festival and Carnival on August 25-26
on South San Pedro Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Events will
include live performances, food vendors and something fun for everyone,
whether you're an anime fan or someone that just likes to go out and
have a good time. Cosplayers are strongly encouraged to dress up as
their favorite character and make their way around the Festival to take
pictures with Carnival visitors!
