Lower Shore Workforce Alliance, A Division of the Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore has partnered with Chesapeake Community College to provide courses for Marine Service Technician training courses (an identified workforce need of the Tri-County Area employers).

The Marine Service Technician Program prepares students to install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of marine equipment. With training at Chesapeake College, in dedicated marine labs, students gain practical skills and take certification tests making participants job-ready for the marine service industry.

• Topics covered: Boat Safety and Handling, shop and safety practices, Marine Electronics, Marine Engine Services (Outboards, Inboards and Diesel), Marine Plumbing Systems, Marine Materials (Fiberglass, Wood, Metal, and Composites).

Location: Chesapeake Community College

When: April 20 - July 1, 2026, Monday & Wednesdays from 6:00 - 9:00 PM
