We are excited to share that some changes have been made to our Texas Parks and Wildlife Department – Coastal Fisheries internships. Because of these changes, our Coastal Fisheries internships are now available to students pursuing a degree in Marine Biology/Fisheries Management or any related degree from all universities. We want to ensure that we share these opportunities with as many students as possible, so please distribute this announcement as you see fit. All available internships and applications can be found on our CAPPS job board or by following this link: https://capps.taleo.net/careersection/802/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en#.  Applications will close on March 13th, 2025, 11:59:00 PM.

As the number of internships/jobs listed on the CAPPS website can be overwhelming and difficult to sift through, I have added links below to all our Coastal Fisheries Division opportunities. These links are grouped by teams. I have included the brief description of each team that can found on their respective job postings to help students understand what the teams are responsible for. I have also included the locations associated with and number of position openings for each position.

Hi Stephen and Michael,

We have opened up out summer internship opportunity at Coastal Fisheries to schools outside of the Texas A&M system.

There are several TPWD internships available along the Texas coast,  but the link for the Sabine Lake position is below.  I was hoping that you may be able to share it with your students.

Appreciatively,

-Carey
