Dear Career Services Director,

As a company deeply invested in the future of our industry, Forest Carbon Works is eager to collaborate with institutions like [mail merge info] to offer exceptional internship experiences. We are seeking highly motivated and talented students to join our team for a summer internship in or around Morrilton or Little Rock, Arkansas.

Forest Carbon Works, a subsidiary of Chestnut Carbon, offers private US forest landowners conservation programs that help them access carbon credit markets while preserving their land and legacy.  This intern would have the opportunity to engage in hands-on, real-world projects that align with their academic pursuits and skill sets. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment, coupled with mentorship from experienced professionals. Interns will be given significant exposure to the exciting and growing forest carbon offset industry, forest inventory design and sampling, and forestry field work.

Here's what we are offering:

  • Internship Duration: 12 weeks
  • Potential Internship Areas: Forest carbon inventory, forestry field experience
  • Pay: $17-20/hour, mileage reimbursement

Interested candidates should contact Brian Anderson, Senior Biometrician.

We value partnerships with your institution and believe that by collaborating we can help prepare talented students to become the future leaders in our industry. We are confident that our internship program will provide valuable experiences and opportunities for growth. Please contact me for an additional information session and we would be glad to discuss the details.

We are available to meet with you at your convenience to discuss our internship program and answer any questions you may have.

Sincerely,

Heidi Palmer, SHRM-CP, PHR
