Description
Perennial Environmental Services, LLC (Perennial), a rapidly growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Entry-Level Environmental Specialist to join our team. We provide a wide range of environmental services to clients across the nation and are looking for someone who shares our core values of Community, Growth-Oriented, Integrity, Innovation, and Tenacity.
Role Overview:
As an Entry-Level Environmental Specialist, you will play a crucial role assisting with data analysis and preparation of technical reports, environmental permit applications, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation. This position offers valuable practical experience in environmental permitting and compliance. Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required based on project needs.
Key Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Botany, Wildlife or Range Management, Forestry, Geology, Soil Science, or a related field.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Highly organized and detail oriented.
· Familiarity with NEPA and federal environmental regulations.
· At least two years of experience in a professional environment (experience does not need to be in the environmental field).
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Relevant coursework including ecology, geology, biology, water resources/hydrology, and environmental law/policy.
