Tenure-accruing Assistant Professor (Forest Management) position at University of Florida
University of Florida, West Florida Research and Education Center (WFREC) seeks applications for a 9 month, 60 teaching/40 research, tenure accruing faculty position in the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (SFFGS). Qualifications include doctorate (foreign equivalent acceptable) in forestry or closely related discipline. Position will focus on diverse forestry and natural resource management issues. Responsibilities include teaching upper-division undergraduate courses of Fire Ecology and Forest Mensuration, as well as additional courses depending on candidate experience and interests at WFREC at Milton, Florida and development of a research program relevant to forest ecosystems in northern Florida.
