The Umatilla National Forest is advertising several seasonal and permanent positions from GS-3 to GS-7 pay levels for the 2024 field season. These seasonal jobs include forestry, biological sciences, fisheries, natural resources, archeology, and wildland firefighter positions. The North Fork John Day Ranger District out of Ukiah is a beautiful remote location in eastern Oregon that has housing available on a first-come, first-served basis.
