  1. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission is accepting applications for two Conservation I Technicians to assist with the Aquatic Habitat Program. To apply: see attached job announcement (deadline = March 9, 2026).

 

  1. The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) Graduate Assistantship is accepting applications for a M.S. or PhD graduate student research assistant that would develop a thesis or dissertation evaluating aquatic animal movements and the effectiveness of restorations of connectivity in stream ecosystems. To apply: see attached (deadline = April 7, 2026).

 

  1. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is hiring three technicians to assist with a Gulf-wide reef fish discard survey. Applicants may apply to a specific location(s) or select all three (deadline = March 1, 2026). Position is federally funded from May of 2026 through November 2027.
