The Silver Spur offers a paid internship for students wanting hands on experience at many of our ranches. 

The Silver Spur internship is offered year round, and is open to all applicants.   We accept applications from all majors and locations.  This is  paid internship $1000/month with housing provided.

For those who have little to no exposure to the ranching way of life, this internship allows you to explore the industry with hands on experience.  Students that  have experience, the internship allows you to learn how the fourth largest cow/calf operation operates.

This is a paid internship $1000/month plus housing.

To be considered for the internship, we do require you to travel to our corporate office in Encampment, Wyoming. The meeting will take place in the spring of 2019.

You may request a specific location, however it cannot be guaranteed.

Houses are fully furnished. Most locations will have several interns sharing a house. Interns will be responsible for all linen (towels, sheets, pillows, etc.) and food.
