Hi!
As promised, we (the Gateway Team) are sharing information as we have it. Currently, the FY24 Consolidated Seasonal hiring announcements just dropped yesterday. These have varying closing dates and varying locations, so students need to pay attention. In general, most close around Dec. 11th. You can check them out using this link (may include other seasonal positions), or check out the specifics below.
The positions discussed below are "seasonal" (generally summer) temporary job positions. They are not formal internships such as Pathways where we can do a direct conversion, etc. However, if someone is hired into a position it is certainly great field experience and if the supervisor is willing, the student can be rehired into the position the following season without having to apply. There are some benefits such as accruing annual leave. Often the positions require some experience, but not always, so students will need to read the qualifications carefully.
