Greetings!

 

We proudly announce that the Iowa State University George Washington Carver Internship Program and the USDA REEU- funded Cyclone Scholar Summer Research Experience (CSSRE) application is now open! We welcome all undergraduate students to apply for the incredible summer research experience.

 

Students accepted into the program will spend eight weeks on Iowa State’s gorgeous campus. Scholars will conduct research alongside various faculty mentors spanning in diverse research areas. In addition to research, mentors will investigate and experience several food systems, agricultural processes Lastly, scholars can take advantage of several opportunities to participate in professional development workshops.

 

Stipend, travel, housing, and meals will be provided. Further details of funding will be released upon acceptance into the program.

 

This program runs from Monday, June 3, 2024 - Thursday, August 1, 2024. The application closes Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:59 pm. 

We look forward to having you this summer! 

Note: Graduating seniors are eligible to apply. This program is not open to Iowa State University students.
