Hi, Ashley and Alaina!
My name is Amy Leigh Bamberg, and I'm the People Champion at Father Nature Landscapes of Birmingham. You and I connected briefly at the beginning of the fall semester, and I have not forgotten your kindness!
As you would expect from such exceptional leaders in the landscape industry, Father Nature offers an incredible summer internship experience. Our approach is quite unique because it includes
- a cohort experience with other interns
- 1:1 mentoring of the student by one of our industry experts
- two opportunities for formal evaluation -- both by the student and from the mentor
- completion of a capstone project that provides direct value to our staff, clients, or community
- an entrepreneurial course offered to students who are interested in leading or launching their own firm
- a strategic focus on one track rather than a jumping of the student from department to department and never gaining in-depth exposure
You see, our program invites students to build on their classroom knowledge, gain confidence, acquire essential skills, and explore their passions -- all in an enjoyable and safe environment!
Because of the exceptional nature of your program and eagerness of your team to develop the next generation of industry leaders, we would love to partner with you in providing a dynamic learning experience.
