Help 80-20 to fight for us

我是个不太关心政治的人。亦无党无派。但是为了我们孩子的未来，我觉得我们应该支持80-20。这是唯一一个为了我们的孩子未来努力的亚裔无党派组织。

Dear Friends:

    I am respectfully requesting that you read the following email from me.  :-) :-)

    The Asian American community is neither united nor strong.   Wouldn't you
want it to be UNITED & STRONG?  There is a way to achieve that dream.

    If we are indeed united & strong, like the Jewish community, what could be 
the benefits?

(a) our children will no longer need to deny their own identity in order to avoid
     discrimination in college admissions - how could we have stomached it?;
(b) our adults will no longer need to work twice as hard just to maintain their 
     jobs.  We have the right to aspire rising to the limits of our ambition & ability.  
     No more glass ceiling!
(c) all of us, every man, woman and child, will no longer have to suffer outra-
     geous insults against us Broadcasted on national TV.  Remember how 
     Bob Beckel demonized us on Fox channel?  You MUST see that!
      
     Beckel said, ".. the Chinese .. biggest threat ... they have been, and they 
     will be ...we bring them over here... a bunch of Chinamen... billions of them
     ... they kill kids ..."

     Was he fired by Fox on 7-10-2014, the date of his rant?  No. Could such 
     insults be hurled at the black or Jewish community with the offender staying 
     on the job for another year?  NO!  Why are we so impotent, will our children 
     be proud of us or be proud of being AsAms?  Answer that question!
    
     Honestly, the best way for us to become STRONG almost immediately is to 
help 80-20 initiative's Self Empowerment Long-term Fund, SELF, reach its  
goal of raising $1 million/yr.  SELF is already 76% accomplished. Click here to 
verify. That organization has leaders who understand American politics and 
who are courageous and superb fighters.

     I have been on its e-newsletters list for a long period.  I am deeply 
impressed with its devotion to our community, its political astuteness, and its 
record of  achieving concrete advancement for us.   The achievements include 
Supreme Court and court of public opinion; piercing the glass ceiling in many 
areas, particularly in cabinet positions, federal judgeships and 
senior executive service appointments in federal agencies.  80-20 is also good
at punishing all who humiliate us, including Bob Beckel who was finally fired on 
June 25, 2015.  Did 80-20 find the right pressure point?  Maybe.

     Putting my money where my mouth is, I have pledged to donate $1,000/yr for 5 yrs
and have already sent $1,400 to SELF.  Please click here to verify. 

     Would you consider donating $100/yr for 5 yrs to SELF?  It'll cost you only 
 $100 this year, which is tax deductible.  You can't lose.  If SELF fails to reach 
its target by the deadline, your money will be refunded to you in full, if requested.

     My letter to you is a part of a nationwide campaign to recruit 2300 new 
$100/yr donors by Oct. 25, 2015, preferably ASAP.  SELF is mostly accomplished.
It needs your BIG push to get it to $1million/yr.  Money talks, particularly 
in politics and in warning foes: "Don't Tread On Us!"
