Reunion in the works

The 1st annual La Moure County Reunion could be a possibility. I have
been in contact with several shipmates and they all agree a reunion is
a must. Great memories, friends, shipmates, and One Tough LST. We had
a special crew on board during the '70s. So, a reunion would be
something special I think we can all agree on. Please contact me at

There are many web sites to look at. First there is QM2 Brian
Crawfords site LST1194.org, then there is the "togetherweserved.com"
site; Military.com; Navysite.de Crew List; navybuddies.com, Also,
Classmates.com and Reunion.com when add La Moure County as one of your
communities you will also see the list of names of those that are
registered. With all these resources we should be able to find most of
our crew and put this reunion together. Thanks to all and please get
