I received this today and told the sender I would post it here. I was
on that cruise and I don't remember any of these, but maybe you do.

I am looking for someone to help me with some events that
happened on the LF6F 2-79 cruise 34th MAU BLT1/8. I was on the USS
Ponce (LPD15). I am looking to find out if anyone remembers a
helicopter going down with Marines and all the Marines were lost I
believe in Turkey. Also a landing craft ran over a Marine jeep in
Greece and also a Marine falling off a cliff there and dying. Also a
Marine climbed to the top of one of the mast of one of the ship and
