Dear Members,
Loksatta Party is proud to announce its debut in the state with the BBMP elections, where its candidates are contesting in a number of wards. The party's candidates are self-made citizens of the city with excellent professional records, a strong reputation for proven public service, and with good, clear ideas for the future of namma Bengaluru.
We all know that a major cause for corruption in the system is excess expenditure in the election. Loksatta candidates will undertake an Oath pledging to not buy voters by any means and to conduct their campaign in ethical manner within the stipulated guidelines.. The details of the programme are as below;
All Loksatta Candidates are declaring their assets publicly even though it is not required.[press release ]
Our candidates pledge to declare assets annually if they get elected.
Loksatta's BBMP Manifesto, Candidate profiles and Ward manifestos will be announced to media.
Candidates will proceed to the respective area offices to file nominations along with their supporters.
Please join us for the oath taking ceremony and be part of a new beginning in Karnataka politics.
